Many years ago SNL created a commercial for the fictitious toy line available for the Tom Hanks ’ film Philadelphia . It was of course completely inappropriate for the pure tone of the film , just like thisDark Knight - themed Potato Head .
This , however , is tangible . While it ’s precious , and Mr. Potato Head has certainly bask a revivification in late years thanks to Toy Story and endless film draw - ins , Christopher Nolan worked hard to erase the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman moving picture from our minds with his gritty realistic portrayal of the torture fighter . And that does n’t really interpret well to a grin plastic white potato .
