A shudder under the surface of Lake Victoria loose grade of prehistoric piranha , an event which rallies the local sheriff ( Elizabeth Shue ) who will lay on the line everything to save her townsfolk .
The cast is pretty impressive and include Ving Rhames , Christopher Lloyd , Eli Roth , Elisabeth Shue , Dina Meyer and Paul Scheeer .
