The Pentagon is planning on testing a new wireless - monitor technology next week called “ Wolfpack , ” design to not only take heed to enemy communications , but to jam and pass through enemy spreader and electronic computer . The plan is to eventually beef up the individual units so that they could be seeded from airplanes , gain the dry land and receive other Wolf , then start their work ( using an inflatable antenna , no less ) .
Cool , but I still sort of get the notion that much of this functionality could be emulated by a HAM radio operator with a $ 200 Radio Shack gift add-in . Of course , those would be more difficult to miss en masse out of sheet .
