Australian Andrew Milner built a poker table equipped with RFID chip for every single card and HD camera to get across every movement . His frame-up can even tell where cards dwell in a full , perpendicular deck .

Tiny RFID cards are attached to each lineup , and effort are monitor with four separate HD cameras , all running into a video encoder to create a live provender . A usance bit of software mixes the feeds with the data from the RFID chips , creating a bouncy feed where the viewer can see exactly where each calling card is and what each role player is doing . Even when in a full deck , the RFID poker chip are thin enough to stack by rights , and the witness would cognize when each card will be dealt .

seemingly the setup be Milner about $ 7000 and three months to build , but it ’s very impressive for what it is . Why anybody would want to have this sort of thing outside a television studio does n’t make much horse sense to me , but Milner , a chair of an IT company , be intimate the level of detail it bestow to his games .
