Those properties also have designated areas for smokers on site.Smokingwillstill be allowed in certain parts of Disney Springs in Florida.There’s also a tweak coming to the park rules regarding the use of strollers.New restrictions will be placed on the size of strollers allowed in the parks. In particular, the width allowed has been reduced from 36 inches to 31 inches. The announcement notes that “many” strollers still fit within this range. And the blogWalt Disney World News Todaynotes that even most double-wide joggers will still be allowed. The length permitted, 51 inches, will stay the same.Kid-carrying wagons are also getting the boot, as they reportedly cause extra congestion in the parks.Should families turn up at the theme park with strollers and wagons that don’t fit the parameters, they will be able to rent alternatives.Another rule change might annoy Queen Elsa, but shouldn’t have a negative impact on too many other visitors.Disney will no longer allow loose ice or dry ice to be carried into parks. TheOrlando Sentinelnotes this will most directly affect anyone bringing coolers into the park. This change goes into effect immediately.
