After more than a decade of research and dialogue with local authorities , Disney recently got the greenlight for its plan to renovate the Grand Central Air Terminal . Located just northwards of Los Angeles in Glendale , California , the rundown terminal is a relic of the realm ’s old commercial airdrome , and the divergence item for the country ’s first regularly schedule coast - to - glide flight .
