The famed burlesque performer, 51, appeared on a new episode of theAllison Interviewspodcast where she praised the “I Can See You” musician, 34, while detailing her experiences teaching her routine to collaborators.
“The best experience was Taylor,” Von Teese said, referring to working on the"Bejeweled"music video. “She’s really, like, a kind girl. She knew everything about what I do.”
She noted that Swift really wanted her to showcase her talent.
“She wanted to not just have me be behind the scenes teaching her to be, you know, in my glass,” Von Teese recalled. “She wanted to showcase what I do."

However, the actress and producer revealed not every experience wasn’t as positive as working with Swift.
Von Teese revealed that when she was asked to teach a routine to formerReal Housewives of New York CitystarBethenny Frankelfor her short-lived talk show, it didn’t go so well.
“Guess what? She didn’t show up for rehearsal!” Von Teese shared. “I was like, ‘Why am I at rehearsal? I don’t need to rehearse. I can do this blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back.’ Then we did it live on camera, and I was like, ‘You’re on your own.'”

“Bejeweled,” the second video fromTaylor Swift’s albumMidnights, debuted in October 2022 and featured a “twist on a Cinderella story” where the singer-songwriter took on the role of the famous fairytale character.
“I want[ed] to make a video that was just for the fans who like certain things like glitter and Easter eggs and lots of little cameos,” Swift — who also directed the video — said during an appearance onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonthat same month.
The music video included cameos from Oscar winnerLaura Dern, who plays Swift’s evil stepmother,Haim sistersEste, Danielle and Alana, who are equally as terrible andJack Antonoffas a charming prince who offers a proposal.
Von Teese, who Swift said onFallonis “one of the most iconic performers,” also appeared in the music video as “the fairy goddess.” The pair teamed up for a sultry burlesque number, dancing and posing in two oversized martini glasses, with squeezable olives and all.
