Helena ChristensenandNorman Reedusare toasting their son on his 24th birthday!
On Friday, the supermodel, 54, posted a touching message on Instagram in honor of her only son Mingus Lucien Reedus' special day, calling him “the biggest star in my life.”
“Happy 24th to the biggest star in my life 🌟🎂💫😻,” Christensen wrote. “You know how much I love you so will spare you all that jazz but I want you to know how much all your love and support this summer meant to abuelita and I. We couldn’t have done it without you.”
In the post, Christensen shared several snapshots of Mingus throughout the years — from his youbg boyhood to a more recent shot of him walking down an empty street with a blazer on.
Separately, Reedus, 54, posted about Mingus' birthday on his own Instagram page, alongside a silly black-and-white photo of the father-son duo taken when Mingus was just a boy.
“Happy bday MINGUS love u like the ocean!❤️,” theWalking Deadstar wrote.
Christensen also commented under Reedus' post. “Our boy,” she wrote, adding three black heart emojis.
Reedus also shares daughterNova Tennessee, 4, with his fiancée,Diane Kruger. The pairconfirmed their engagementto PEOPLE in August 2021.

It’s been a big year for Mingus, who earned a degree fromNew York University back in May, when both parents joined forces to celebrate their new college graduate.
At the time, Christensen posted a selfie with Mingus and Norman as they posed for a family shot. The model also shared a clip of the father-son duo taken right after Mingus' commencement ceremony, showing Mingus in a purple and white graduation gown as he and his dad lifted their fists in celebration.
As of late, Mingus is following in his mom’s modeling footsteps, having walked the Versace spring/summer 2023 menswear show in Milan and even having appeared ina Marcell Von Berlin campaignwith Christensen last year.
“I really enjoyed working with Marcell and his brand. He is professional and very dedicated to his work, and it shows in his wonderful designs,” Christensen said in a release. “It was very special for me to shoot this campaign alongside my son. We had a really fun day.”
