Queen Maximaof the Netherlands made a true fashion statement in the capital of fashion.

According to the Dutch court, “Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses” will be displayed in Paris until April 2024 before traveling to Brisbane, Singapore, Los Angeles and Rotterdam.
At the exhibit opening,WWDreported that Queen Maxima said, “I really congratulate Paris for having this first.”

Frombold feathered hatstoglamorous gowns, King Willem-Alexander’s wife is known for a fearless sense of fashion. On Nov. 10, the Royal House released new state photos of the royal couple to mark the King’s tenth anniversary year. Willem-Alexander, 56, became monarch in 2013 upon the abdication of his mother, Queen Beatrix, now 85.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima gave soft smiles in the first shot onInstagram, where the Queen sat and her husband stood behind her. Both wore their royal honors, while Maxima repeated afavorite combination.
The royal wore a ruffled blush gown and the Stuart Tiara, which she previously paired for a state banquet in Belgium over the summer. According toThe Court Jeweller, the historic headpiece can hold the 40-carat Stuart Diamond at its center. Scaling it back for a slightly more subtle statement, however, Queen Maxima wore it with a smaller diamond.
In June, the royaldonned the combofor the diplomatic dinner at Laeken Castle in Brussels. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium held the state banquet in honor of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima’s three-day state visit.

Queen Mathilde and Queen Maxima, both looking regal in pastel gowns with plenty of jewels, seemed to be having fun together. The two Queens' easy rapport had been on display since the start of the state visit, from their joint walkabout with their husbands to checking out the buffet at the dinner. In one storybook scene, Maxima and Mathilde even shared a whisper — and a giggle!
Both Kings gave speeches at the banquet dinner, andguests toastedthe good relationship and historical links between the two countries, which share a border.
